Pumpkin Patch

Sisters

Everyone is always saying how Edith looks just like Hazel. I have always thought they looked really different. They both have pouty little mouths and they favor...but I'll let you be the judge....

DIY drop cloth curtains

Pinterest strikes again! I wanted some new curtains for the kitchen. The ones that were in there were painful to look at. Soooo...I found this fabulously cheap and easy way to make new ones on Pinterest.

Supplies:
Drop cloth from Lowes ($10)
Stencil from Michaels ($5)
Small bottle of Acrylic paint ($.89-already had it)
Sponge brush ($1- already had it)

Total cost-$15 for three panels of curtains!

Made my cheap soul so very happy :)

Lil' E is 4 months!

Sweet Edith is the happiest baby. She's rolling all over the place and grabbing for whatever she can get her little hands on. She loves watching her big sis run circles around her and is sleeping so much better. Yay for sleep!

Vintage Treats

I heart treats. Especially from my bestie Missa. I had a rough week last week and she so sweetly, so thoughtfully showed up with treats...vintage looking ones from anthropologie at that! Nothing better in the world than genuine thoughtfulness.

Containment at its best!

Yes. That is a two year old in a baby Bjorn. Whatever works, right?

Princess and the bad owl Play

We had a fun grilling/football watching/playing evening with the Youngs Saturday night. Madison was director and creator of the "Princess and the bad owl Play". Hazel thought it was fantastic and she was blissfully unaware that she was supposed to be the "bad" owl.
