Army (military) Wives-a post from the heart

I got to spend the afternoon with two friends and another amazing solider....Joey Snowden, home for a short bit on R&R from Afgan. Marrried to the very strong and brave Kristin. Being an army wife is one of the toughest jobs around...praise to Kris for doing it so well these last 7 months. As an army wife you support your soldier...are so proud and honored to be by their side cheering them on, but there are some days you are left lonely and terrified..."When will they be home? Will they make it home safely? When will they have to leave again? Will it be the same when they return?" I truly believe its the tough times in life that make us stronger, that bring us closer together and that shape who we are. So when these times come...press on and stay strong. I am so grateful to our faithful soldiers, but I am also grateful for all of the brave women who stand by their side holding down the fort while they are gone. Its these women who give our soldiers hope to make it one more day and the strength to return home safely. Thank you army wives for your service to our country. Our soldiers could not do it without you.

EWEES collage

I have had several request for EWEES lately...they are spread out all over my blog so I thought I would put them all in one place to make the choice a bit easier. Here are some EWEES favorites...click on the images to make them larger. I usually make bibs, onesies (all sizes), shirts, burp cloths and hand towels....but am very open to anything. If you can think of it, I can attempt to make it :) Thank you to all my EWEES supporters, you make being creative fun!

Also...here are some cool new fabrics to choose from as well.
