DIY bag

I have an epic fabric fetish and I am not ashamed to admit it. I am a major sucker for any retro, funky, trendy, vintage and aesthetically pleasing fabric. I have collected hundreds over the last couple of years for various projects and for a long time have wanted to make something from all the scraps. My end goal is a patchwork quilt bedspread for Hazel's room but with the free-time I have these days being almost non-existent that undertaking will have to wait. In the meantime using this tutorial from Pinterest I made a tote bag for Hazel for MDO. It was so much fun and satisfied my scrappy fabric use for the moment.

Shared Rooms

I blame it on my best friend Melissa who introduced it to me...my ever growing love (or obsession) for Pinterest is becoming a bit ridiculous. BUT it has been SO useful for ideas, DIY projects and recipes...so I don't feel like it has been a total waste of time. At some point I would like for the girls to share a room...I am gathering ideas for when the time comes. Here are some of my favorites from Pinterest.
