Food, Friends and Family

I finally have both my little bros back in town for the first time in a very long time...it has been so wonderful. Cameron has been traveling the world for the past two and a half years and it is so nice to have him back home. This past weekend...Brooks, Melissa, Christine, and myself took the little ones and had an amazing meal at Do Di Yos. I had never been there but will def be going back. It was so great to have Brooksy and her babes in town...wish I saw more of them.

Fabulous Fabric

One of my latest hobbies is the search for fabulous fabric. It's a bit sad how excited I get when I see a fabric that I love...I'm embarrassed to admit that at times I have spent hours on end searching for a particular fabric. I saw a little dress on etsy made in this chartreuse rose fabric and I knew I had to have it. I searched for the name of it for almost two weeks and finally discovered that it was a fabric designed by the amazing Michael Miller. One of my favorite fabric sources that has a lot of great designers in one place is hawthornethreads.com. I usually find what I want and then see if fabric.com carries it. They have great prices and fast shipping that's free if you spend $35.
